Updates to the 2019 GLS
There are plenty of reasons to enjoy the Mercedes-Benz GLS. In 2018, it gave us smart features like Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® cruise control, flat-screen DVD players for the second-row passengers, an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, and much more. Good news! You can expect all those same features for the 2019 model year. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz decided to add a new Grand Edition trim with plenty of interior luxury features. Some of those features include:
- designo Porcelain/Espresso Brown Nappa Leather (with Budapest stitching)
- designo Natural Grain Linden wood trim with stripes
- GLS 450 features a unique 20″ 10-Spoke Wheel with Black Accents
- Grand Edition badging
As far as performance goes, it will remain the same for 2019. That means a powerful yet efficient 3.0L V6 biturbo engine in the GLS 450, a 4.7L V8 biturbo engine in the GLS 550, and a handcrafted AMG® 5.5L V8 biturbo engine in the AMG® GLS 63. Each of these models comes standard with all-wheel drive so you’ll have the best traction and handling on those rough roads.
